Corey Smith and J.P. Marchetti were married Oct. 21, 2007 at Galleria Marchetti in Chicago.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Marcia Smith, Eudora. The groom is the son of Mary Jane Marchetti and the late Joseph Marchetti.
Matron of honor was Lindsey Hoover, sister of the bride. Best man was John Kaufman.
Bridesmaids were Lucy Basow, Elizabeth Flynn and Graziela Kaufman. Groomsmen were John McAdams, Steve Nolan and Keith Weinstein.
Ushers were Joe Dapier, Kevin Rosenbaum, Jack Buck and Jason Hoover.
Father John Smith officiated.
The reception was given at Galleria Marchetti.
The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Kansas University. She is employed as director of business operations at Galleria Marchetti in Chicago.
The groom is a graduate of New Trier High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Boston College. He and his family operate Galleria Marchetti in Chicago.
The couple reside in Wilmette, Ill.
There wedding will be featured on Bravo's "Top Chef" this spring.
Sorensen and Jamison
Rockne and Judy Sorensen, Lincoln, Neb., announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Sorensen, to Nate Jamison, both of Lawrence.
The bride-to-be is 2000 graduate of Lincoln East High School and a 2004 graduate of Kansas University. She is employed as a first-grade teacher in Eudora.
The future groom is the son of Randy and Kris Jamison, Lawrence. He is a 2000 graduate of Baldwin High School. He is pursuing an associate's degree at Johnson County Community College and is employed as a firefighter for Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical.
The couple plan a June 28 wedding at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University.
