Reader forums on hold

In mid-December, we will be relaunching on our new web publishing system, which will allow readers to post comments on stories, photos and other types of news and community content.

In the interim, we're suspending anonymous community forum comments.

When we transition to the new web publishing system, readers will be required to be verified Real Name users to comment on stories. To request that you become a verified Real Name user, log in to your account and click "Edit your anonymity setting."

Once you've filled out the verification form completely, you'll be contacted to verify the information you provide using the same process used to verify a letters to the editor in the print edition.
