Holmes-Dockery announce engagement

Joe and Carol Holmes, Halstead, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth, Pittsburg, to Jason William Dockery, Fort Smith, Ark., son of George and Cheri Dockery Jr., Pittsburg.

The bride is the granddaughter of W.C. and Dorene Carter and Edna Holmes, all of Eudora, and the late Fields Holmes.

The bride-to-be graduated from Halstead High School in 1998 and will graduate from Pittsburg State University in May 2001 with a bachelor of science in psychology with an emphasis in business/technology. She is employed at Loree's Bridal and Formal in Pittsburg.

Her fiancraduated from Pittsburg High School in 1995 and Pittsburg State University in May 2000 with a bachelor of science in engineering technology with an emphasis in plastics engineering technology. He is employed as a staff engineer at Moll Industries, Inc., in Fort Smith, Ark.

The couple plan a June 16, 2001 wedding in Wichita.

Linneberger-Clark announce engagement

Deborah Linneberger and Jerrid Clark, both of Eudora, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff Carsten, Gardner, and Leanna Cumbala, Las Vegas, Nev. The groom-to-be is the son of Lois and Jimmy Clark, Shawnee.

The future bride graduated from high school and is a homemaker.

Her fianceceived an associate degree in liberal arts. He is a laborer for RMP, Inc.

The couple plan a Jan. 6, 2001 ceremony in Shawnee.
