Community members should behave properly
To the Editor:
Laughing, snickering, making derogatory comments about individual council members and the mayor, more laughing and snickering and even spraying an unknown substance from an aerosol can into the room (I don't have a clue what that was!).
This was the behavior of adults I observed at the city council meeting on Wednesday, June 14.
I would like to send this message to those individuals (most of whom, by the way, are city employees). If you have comments about the council, please address them to the council.
If you disagree with decisions made by the council, I suggest you make these issues known during the "open mike" segment of the meeting.
Either address the issues that seem to be bugging you, or please keep quiet so others can hear the council members' comments.
You behaved like spoiled children. I suggest you act like the adults you are supposed to be.
