Services for Peter "Pete" T. DeNucci, 80, DeSoto, were Saturday, June 24, at Eudora United Methodist Church. Burial was in Mount Sidney Cemetery, Linwood.
Mr. DeNucci died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Youngstown, Ohio.
Mr. DeNucci was a carpenter for over 60 years and had worked in construction for many years.
He was a life member of the Carpenter's Union, Olathe; past worthy patron of Order of Eastern Star No. 78, DeSoto, and past commander of DeMolay No. 4, Lawrence; and a member of Kansas York Rite Chapter No. 4 and Scottish Rite Bodies, both of Lawrence; past watchman of Shepherd of Fidelity White Shrine of Jerusalem, Lawrence; and a life member and past district commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6654, DeSoto.
He also was a member of the Eudora United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen DeNucci, of the home; a son, Mark T. DeNucci Sr., Toledo, Ohio; a daughter, Nancy DeNucci, Lake Mary, Fla.; a brother, Patrick DeNucci, Youngstown, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Eudora United Methodist Church Building Fund or a Masonic charity of the donor's choice, sent in care of Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs 66012.
