Eudora man pleads guilty to indecent liberty charges
A Eudora resident plead guilty to indecent liberty charges, stemming from two separate occasions in March.
District Attorney Christine Tonkovich said Charles Scouten, 66, entered his plea last week to the charges of indecently touching two young girls. Scouten's sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 11.
"He entered a plea of guilty on April 10 to an amended complaint which charged two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child," Tonkovich said.
Eudora Police Chief Bill Long said one incident involving a 6-year-old was reported in Eudora. Another incident involving a 9-year-old occurred at Clinton Lake and was reported to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
