Zaveah Roez Kobza
Marty and Nicke Kobza, Eudora, announce the birth of their daughter, Zaveah Roez, on Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park.
Zaveah weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces and was 21-1/2 inches long. She has two sisters, Rayah, 6, and Teghn, 2; and a brother, Jaxn, 3.
Grandparents are Bob and Marcia Charbonneau, Kansas City, Kan., and Hank and Bonnie Kobza, Bellwood, Neb.
Great-grandmother is Nila Mae Charbonneau, Concordia. Great-grandfather is Meo Brichalli, Concordia.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
