Misty Johnstone and Kurtis McCormick, both of Eudora, were married Saturday, May 20, 2000, overlooking the pond at the home of the bride's parents in Eudora. Gary Thomas officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Allan and Robyn Johnstone, Eudora. The groom is the son of Price and Merlene McCormick, Eudora.
Lisa Mankin, Billings, Mont., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Johnstone, sister of the bride, Joanna Hendry and Lindy Powers, all of Eudora.
Dave Gleason, Eudora, was best man. Groomsmen were Travis McCormick, brother of the groom, and James Shoemaker and Jose Regalado, all of Eudora. Darla Kahle was in charge of flowers. Cindy Baethke was the photographer.
Rex Schoolcraft, cousin of the bride, Laramie, Wyo., was an usher and the videographer. Kevin McCormick, brother of the groom, was also an usher.
Savanah Wolff, cousin of the bride, Pine Haven, Wyo., was guest book attendant.
Sam Platt, Eudora, was in charge of the music.
Wedding coordinator was Julia Chumbley, Eudora.
The reception was held on the outside lawn at the home of the bride's parents. Joe Bilderback, Allan Johnstone and Robyn Johnstone, all of Eudora, and Mackie Cadlo, Pine Haven, Wyo., prepared food.
The bride graduated from Eudora High School in May 1999. She is employed at C& S Market, Eudora.
The groom graduated from Eudora High School in May 1997. He is employed at Johnson County Guttering and is in the Kansas National Guard Reserves.
The couple resides in Eudora.
