Thank you for a record-setting relay
Congratulations, Eudora, you the community have done it yet again. You have reached into your souls and deep into your pockets to make the Fourth Annual Relay for Life the greatest ever. Where to begin and how to thank all of you is now the challenge.
Each year the Relay has grown as more become involved. If your name is not mentioned here, please forgive us, but know that your help was no less appreciated.
There are not words in our language to explain how we, the committee, felt when the tally of more than $51,000 was announced Saturday morning at 7 a.m. Tears of joy were shed by many. It was Brooke's dream to accomplish a goal of $50,000 and you did it.

Thanks also to the EHS Booster Club members who ran the concession stand and to all of those who participated in our program: Josh and Jill Abel, Mary Higgins, Lisa and Levi Demuth, Junkyard Jazz and the band, The Flood, and Rosemary Robinson who came from Kansas City to sing the National Anthemyou were excellent. Rod Moyer and Ed Pyle, our disc jockeys, actually made walking in the night fun. Thanks guys! And, a special thanks to Barbara Cawley, who videotaped the event, and to all those who helped in so many ways to make this relay very special for all of our survivors.
