Services for Jacquelyn "Jackie" Drake, 75, Ottawa, were Friday, May 18, at First United Methodist Church, Ottawa. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.

Ms. Drake died Monday, May 14, 2001, at Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.

She was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Bayard, Neb. the daughter of Ernest and Olive (Jackson) Andersen. She graduated from Eudora High School in 1943.

She was married to Harvey M. Drake on July 22, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan. He died July 28, 1978.

A homemaker, Mrs. Drake worked during World War II at Sunflower Ammunition Plant in DeSoto. She and her husband moved in 1956 to Ottawa, where for 40 years she was a facilities supervisor with the Ottawa Recreation Commission, keeping score and announcing games.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Drake and Terry Drake, both of Ottawa; a brother, Vernon Andersen, Olathe; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Trudy Lynn Drake, died in 1957.

The family suggests contributions to the Ottawa Recreation Commission, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
