Services for Eava Joyce Berry, 73, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Alden-Harrington Chapel, Bonner Springs. Burial will be in Bonner Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Berry died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at her home in Kansas City, Kan.

She was born June 20, 1928, in Warsaw, Mo., the daughter of William and Bessie Mae Farier.

Mrs. Berry was a charter member of Bible Baptist Church, Bonner Springs.

She most recently attended Liberty Baptist Church, Kansas City, Kan.

She married Cecil Berry. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include nine sons, Dennis Berry, Topeka, Ronnie Brooks, Grain Valley, Mo., Michael Brooks, Keller, Tex., Patrick Berry and Terry Berry, both of Lawrence, Steve Berry, Edwardsville, Glenn Berry and Keith Berry, both of Basehor, and David Berry, Bonner Springs; six daughters, Elaine Berry, Eudora, Kathy Berry-Lee, Linwood, Connie Penic, Brandon, Fla., Hope Huggins and Barbie Mathia, both of Kansas City, Kan., and Karen Henson, Elsberry, Mo.; a sister, Lorene Zumalt, Warrensburg, Mo.; 50 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.

The family suggests memorials to Sister Servants of Mary or to City Union Mission, sent in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs 66012.
