Everett-Koerner
Raymond and Regina Everett, Tonganoxie, and Steve and Beverly Koerner, Eudora, announce the engagement of their children, Rebecca Lynn Everett and Justin James Koerner, both of Lawrence.
The future bride is a 1995 graduate of Basehor-Linwood High School.
The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Johnson County Community College. He is a service technician for Scott Temperature, Inc., in Lawrence. He also serves as an Emergency Management volunteer for Douglas County.
The couple plan a Sept. 21 wedding at Elm Grove Baptist Church in Bonner Springs.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
