Agnes M. Rossman

Funeral services for Agnes M. Rossman, 98, Richmond, were Thursday, Feb. 27, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond with the Rev. Emil Agostino officiating. Burial was in St. Boniface Cemetery, Scipio.

Mrs. Rossman died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa.

She was born Sept. 29, 1904, in Scipio, the daughter of William and Lena (Lickteig) Wolken.

She was a lifetime resident of Anderson and Franklin counties.

Mrs. Rossman was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Altar Society and the Pitch Club of Richmond.

She married Fred Rossman Nov. 10, 1925. He died Feb. 10, 1927. She married John Rossman Nov. 9, 1927. He died Feb. 21, 1973.

An infant daughter, Irene Rossman, who died the same day as her father, a grandchild, a great-grandchild, four brothers, and three sisters, preceded her in death.

Survivors include six sons, Jim Rossman, Albert, Virgil Rossman, Arthur Rossman and Earl Dean Rossman, all of Richmond, Don Rossman, Pomona, and Robert Rossman, Princeton; three daughters, Maretta Mulerin, Fenton, Mich., Erma Brown, Gardner, and Dorothy Shields, Princeton; a sister, Bertille Bichelmeyer, Eudora; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, sent in care of Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel, Garnett.
