William D. Lee

Graveside inurnment for William David Lee, 58, Eudora, formerly of Gardner, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Belton Cemetery in Belton, Mo.
Mr. Lee died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 26, 1945, in Holden, Mo., the son of Admiral Dewey and Cora L. (Stradling) Lee. He moved to Gardner in 1969 from Kansas City, Kan. He moved to Eudora six years ago.
Mr. Lee worked in the shipping and receiving department at Mid West Conveyor Company in Edwardsville for 35 years. He was also a welder and truck driver.
He was a member of the Local Teamsters No. 541. He was also a Baptist.
He married Sharon K. Huffman Aug. 1, 1964, in Edwardsville. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Gary Lee, Gardner; two daughters, Teresa Anderson, Gardner, and Trenda Garrett, Eudora; a brother, Robert Lee, Topeka; two sisters, Betty Adams, Adrian, Mo., and Buela Bingman, Blue Eye, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Three brothers, George Lee, Elmer Lee and James Lee, and a sister, Willa Dean Lee, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Baldwin Cub Scout Pack No. 3065, sent in care of Bruce Funeral Home, P.O. Box 192, Gardner 66030.
