Leo M. Cundiff
Memorial services for Leon M. Cundiff, 82, Junction City, were Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. He was cremated.
Mr. Cundiff died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka.
He was born April 9, 1922, in Belleville, the son of Leo Beauford and Helen Madelyn Johnson Cundiff. He lived most of his life in the Junction City area.
Mr. Cundiff served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945 and fought in World War II.
He owned and operated Harvey's Auto Glass for several years and then worked for Coates Chevrolet until retirement.
Mr. Cundiff was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagles Lodge.
He was married to Barbara Ann Adair for 23 years. They divorced. He married Marie Landrith. They divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Cundiff, Eudora, and Steve Cundiff, Griswold, Iowa; a half-brother, Dick Hamilton, Lawrence; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
