Logan Thomas Schmidt
Jeff and Carol Schmidt, Eudora, announce the birth of their son, Logan Thomas, on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Logan weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. He has a sister, Taylor Lee, 3.
Grandparents are Larry and Barbara Richardson, Wilsey, and Tom and Susie Schmidt, Peabody.
Great-grandparents are Jean Francis, Council Grove, and Nellie Schmidt and Marshall Pierce, both of Peabody.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
