Lola L. Warren

Funeral services for Lola Lucille Warren, 89, Centralia, will be at 10:30 a.m. at Centralia United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Centralia Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at the Onaga Hospital.
She was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Centralia, the daughter of Clyde O. and Lila Riley Brown.
She graduated from Centralia High School in 1933. She attended Kansas State University and Emporia State Teacher's College.
Mrs. Warren taught in rural and town schools for 21 years. She taught as many as 40 students in all eight grades in a one-room country school.
She was a member of the Centralia United Methodist Church where she helped with the music for more than 75 years.
She married William Warren on Sept. 14, 1950. He died Dec. 29, 1989.
Survivors include a son, Roger Warren, Olathe, and formerly of Eudora; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hayes-Popkess Funeral Home in Centralia.
