For the second weekend in a row, Cardinal wrestlers turned in a solid performance on the mats. The weekend before it was at Bonner Springs, and this time around it was a tournament at the Bobcat Classic at Basehor-Linwood High School.
Eudora title hopes end early at Tonganoxie Invitational

The Tonganoxie Invitational tournament started Tuesday night, but for the Eudora Cardinals boys basketball team it was just a continuation. Eudora fell in the first round of the tournament to Leavenworth Immaculata 71-63.

If this spring’s city and school district elections were today not only would a March 1 primary be unnecessary, but two seats on the Eudora City Council would be available to whomever got the most write-in votes April 5.

In a make-up game last Thursday, the Eudora boys basketball team fell to league rival Paola 53-40. The Cardinals went into the game coming off a 57-54 league loss to Anderson County. One of the problems Eudora has faced so far this year is a lack of consistency.
