Local camps, conditioning

The Eudora Middle School summer conditioning program is taking place now through July 21 at the middle school. Sessions are from 8 a.m. to noon. Students will attend one of the one-hour sessions during that time period.

Summer weight training with coach Gregg Webb for high school students is weekdays at 6 a.m., 7 a.m., 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. and again at 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. through Aug. 5 at the high school, 2203 Church St.,

Coach Bill DeWitt will have wrestling camp from 6 to 8 p.m. July 18 to 21 for athletes in grades six to 12.

The Challenger Sports soccer camp will return to Eudora High School this summer at the high school soccer complex. The camp, from July 18 through 22, is for students in grades seven through 12 and for youth ages 6 to 13.

Seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders will attend morning sessions from 8 to 11 a.m. Afternoon sessions, from 5 to 8 p.m., are for 10th- through 12th-graders.

Sessions for youth ages 6 to 13 are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Football camp for Eudora Middle School seventh- and eighth-graders will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 25 to 29 at the middle school practice fields.

Football camp for third- and fourth-graders will be from 8:15 to 9:45 a.m. July 25 to 28. Sessions for fifth- and sixth-graders will be from 10:15 a.m. to noon July 25 to 28. The high school sessions will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 25 to 29.

Girls basketball camp with coach Ryan Luke will be July 27 to 29 for seventh- through 12th-graders.

High school sessions will be from 8 to 11 a.m. at the high school. Seventh- and eighth-graders will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

An additional camp for high schoolers will be July 30 and 31. The times will be determined at a later date.

Band camp for high school students will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 1 to 5 at Eudora High School, 2203 Church St. Percussion camp for high schoolers will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 to 12.

Cheer camp for seventh- and eighth-graders will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 1 and 2 at Eudora Middle School.
