Services for Hazel Hunter, 89, Eudora, were Saturday, Oct. 1, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence. Burial was in Clearfield Cemetery south of Eudora.
Mrs. Hunter died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Wyandotte County, the daughter of Charles Thomas and Bertha Wiedenbush Benskin. She attended school in Wyandotte County.
Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker.
She married Dale F. Hunter on Jan. 29, 1974, in Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include five daughters, Hazel M. Davis, Baldwin City, Judy E. Degenstein, La Cygne, and Susan Woods, Nancy Freeman and Lori Tarwater, all of Wellsville; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
