Wilma L. Bernard
Visitation services for Wilma L. Bernard, 74, Lawrence, were Saturday, Aug. 27, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence.
Mrs. Bernard died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 13, 1931, in Sac City, Iowa, the daughter of William Franklin and Ethel Genevieve Lathrop Garrison. She graduated from Warsaw, Mo., High School in 1950.
Mrs. Bernard was a homemaker and a caregiver at nursing homes in Kansas City, Kan.
She married Richard Dean Bernard in 1975, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include five daughters, Connie L. McGee, Lawrence, Janis M. Taylor and Christina A. Mottern, both of Knob Noster, Mo., Debbie J. Harvell, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Angela J. Capel, Lawrence; a brother, Kenneth Garrison, Linwood; a sister, June Poeverlein, Lawrence; 25 grandchildren; and 210 great-grandchildren.
