"Encouraging the Creative Process" will be the topic at the Lawrence Art Guild meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the auditorium at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St., Lawrence.
Marybeth Bethel's presentation will focus on the ebb and flow of the creative process. From her research on creativity and human potential, Bethel has devised strategies to work through creative blocks and encourage creative flow. Bethel, MS, is a personal coach, psychotherapist and teacher, with a private practice in Lawrence. Her own creative experience includes writing, performing and recording music, publishing numerous essays and poems and creating glass mosaics.
The Lawrence Art Guild meets from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the auditorium at the library.
