Bloom honored with achievement award

Physical therapist Carolyn Bloom, Eudora, was re-elected as the chief delegate representing the Kansas Physical Therapy Association to the American Physical Therapy Association's House of Delegates at the April 2006 meeting. The House of Delegates serves as the policy making body for the profession.
Bloom was also honored by a board vote to rename an award the "Carolyn Bloom KPTA Lifetime Achievement Award" in honor of her more than 30 years of service to the APTA, KPTA, Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, University of Kansas' PT Education Program, Kansas Arthritis Foundation and other state health care organizations.
Bloom owns Bloom and Associates Therapy and has offices in Eudora, Lawrence and Topeka.
