The Eudora Parks and Recreation Department is offering Blastball for preschoolers ages 3 to 5.
Blastball is a fast-paced game consisting of two teams for young kids. It emphasizes the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.
A minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 16 players are allowed per session. Session A is from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesdays. Session B is from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays.
Session C is from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Thursdays. Session B is from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.
Cost is $35 per person. Registration deadline is Sept. 25.
Games will begin at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 3 and will be played at the Eudora Community Learning Center, 10th and Main streets.
A parent's instructional clinic will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the community learning center. A parent or guardian must participate with the child during the instructional period and parents will be responsible for helping with game duties.
Registration drop boxes are available at C&S Market, 1402 Church St., the Eudora Recreation office and at Eudora City Hall, 4 E. Seventh St. Forms may be mailed to Eudora Parks and Recreation, P.O. Box 182, Eudora 66025, faxed to 542-4112, or taken to the Eudora City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
