Home tour successful
The Eudora Chamber of Commerce would like to thank those who so graciously opened their homes for the Eudora Holiday Home Tour -- Tim and Cheryl Beatty, Hank and Pat Turnbaugh, Larry and Loretta Gantenbein, Rob and Sue Howig and Sue Fulcher.
We would also like to thank C&S Market for the groceries gift certificate prize and Kaw Valley Bank, Mutual Savings and Byrne's Pharmacy for selling advance tickets to the event.
A big thanks to all who purchased tickets and participated in the event. Because of you, this event was a wonderful success for the Eudora Statue Project.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
