Letter: Eudora EMS here to stay
I have read the paper and watched the news about the possibility of Eudora Emergency Medical Services folding if we do not get members.
Citizens of Eudora and the citizens of Eudora Township, do not fear. We are not folding. We are like any volunteer organization and sometimes our membership slips below our desired numbers. We have a few very dedicated volunteers that will make sure Eudora Emergency Medical Services will stay intact and grow stronger.
Once again, Eudora Emergency Medical Services is there for you.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
