Christmas day at the home of Dean and Cindy Hinkle in Bonner Springs where all the Ralph Mersman family enjoyed their Christmas dinner and gift exchange.

  • Tillie Bichelmeyer played pinochle Tuesday at the home of Emma Jean Taylor. Other guests were Jan Kelly, Overland Park, Julia Polfer, Lenexa, and Valerie Richardson.

  • Clarice Morriss went to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Saturday afternoon and came home Monday at around noon. Visitors were her sister Phyllis Oshel and niece Tammy Galloway and daughters Allie and Kassie.

  • Marilyn and Melvin Morriss Jr., brought Christmas dinner to his mother, Clarice Morris, Christmas afternoon.

  • Betty Ryan and Bud Neilson were dinner guests Christmas Eve day of her granddaughter Kelly Gentry and family in Kansas City, Mo.

Betty and Bud were dinner guests Christmas day of her daughter Barbara Earnhart and family in Linwood.

  • Alta Vorhies entertained with a brunch Christmas day for her children Randy and Beth Cobleigh of Kansas City, Mo., and Stanley and Felicia Brown and Kenneth and Janet Vorhies, all of Lawrence.

  • Bertie Morriss was a guest Christmas Eve for supper and a gift exchange at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Merlene and Price McCormick.

Other guests were Kurtis and Misty McCormick and children Kasi and Kurtis, Travis and Brandi McCormick and son, Jace, and Kevin and Anna McCormick and son, Killian, of Lawrence.

Bertie enjoyed dinner on Christmas day with Price and Merlene and Travis, Brandi and Jace.

  • My son and daughter-in-law David and Rhonda Tuggle and my grandson Austin visited me Christmas morning.

I enjoyed Christmas dinner and a gift exchange at the home of my daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick in Linwood.

Other guests were Dudley Steffen, Gravois Mills, Mo., Wilson and Pam Snively, Maryville, Mo., Jeremiah Smith, McLouth, Joshua Smith, Tonganoxie, Autumn Musick and children Aftyn, Trinity and Duncan, Robert and Anita Musick and daughter Tiffany, and Donald Musick.

  • My granddaughter and her husband Amy and David Hastings and their three children Isaiah, Anna and Noah visited me Wednesday afternoon.
