Republican Brown seeks second term in Kansas House
Rep. Anthony Brown announced last week that he would be a candidate for election to a second two-year term to the Kansas House of Representatives.
In his first term, the Eudora Republican was appointed to serve on several committees including taxation, federal and state affairs, financial institutions and the committee on economic development.
"Many supporters have asked me to run for re-election and with their support I will run. It has been a great pleasure to represent the good people of the 38th District and I look forward to serving them again in 2007," Brown said.
The 38th District, which includes De Soto, includes portions of Douglas and Johnson counties.
Brown defeated Tom Marsh, a retired Olathe businessman, in the 2004 Republican primary. He had no opponent in the general election.
During the legislative session, Brown may be reached by calling (785) 296-7632, by writing Docking State Office Building, 915 SW Harrison, Topeka 66612 or by emailing Staterepbrown@sunflower.com.
