Maxine Scheckel

Services for Maxine Scheckel, 84, Richmond, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond with the Revs. Emil Agostino and Clyde Ozminkowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Scipio.
Mrs. Scheckel died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Richmond HealthCare Center.
She was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Linwood, the daughter of Emmett and Mayme Headrick Culp. She graduated from Linwood High School.
Mrs. Scheckel was a retail business owner-operator. She was a member of the St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond.
She married Ambrose Scheckel on July 11, 1992, in Scipio. He survives, of Richmond.
Other survivors include a son, Jerry Sharp, De Soto; a daughter, Phyllis Romine, Los Gatos, Calif.; 11 stepchildren; two sisters, Juanita Marshall, De Soto, and Reta Kurtz, Eudora; three grandchildren; 24 stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
An infant daughter, Colleen Soule, a brother, Robert Culp, and two sisters, Cecile Culp and Marie Landreth, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Boniface Cemetery, sent in care of Farris Feuerborn Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 408, Garnett, 66032.
