The News named one of nation’s best
An Inland Press Association panel of judges selected The Eudora News as a third-place winner in its circulation group in the recent "Nation's Best Non-Daily Newspaper" competition. The contest drew entries from throughout the United States.
The Mirror (Tonganoxie) took first place and the Forest Park Review in Forest Park, Ill., took second in the "Circulation: Less Than 5,000" category.
The judging decisions were based on the newspaper's presentation to attract readership, its readability, its community coverage and the presentation of quality writing and execution.
"I'm very excited about this award. It is truly an honor," The Eudora News general manager Theresa Abel said. "Our staff works hard to keep our readers informed by bringing them up-to-date and local news.
"We appreciate the support of our advertisers and readers, and it is our pleasure to be part of such a great community."
