Eudora to send four to Salina’s Class 4A state meet
February 23, 2006
One of Eudora coach Bill DeWitt’s goals for his 2006 wrestlers was to get eight of them to state at the end of February. Admittedly that may have been a bit lofty, but at last weekend’s 4A regional at Eudora he nearly got his way. The Eudora Cardinals had a strong showing over the weekend, in which many of his grapplers had opportunities to take the bus ride down Interstate 70 to Salina for this year’s Class 4A state wrestling tournament.

Senior Mark Abel and junior Todd Roberts connected on five of Eudora’s six 3-pointers, including a combined 4-for-4 in the second quarter, as the Cardinals notched their 13th win of the year in a 60-50 victory over the Osawatomie Trojans at Eudora.
Eudora coasts past Bulldogs for easy win
February 23, 2006
He’s been looking for it the entire year — that elusive game where everything comes together and his team plays a game with the same effort from start to finish. Past valentines still warm the heart
February 23, 2006
