Sign-up continues at the Eudora Public Library for summer reading.
During June and July, the library is taking donations for the Lawrence Humane Society. The library can provide a list of items most needed.
Teen Readers, ages 12 and up, can join the Bibliomaniacs for a sack lunch from noon to 1 p.m. every Wednesday at the library. Drinks are provided.
Summer reading for adults will be offered at the Eudora Public Library through Aug. 31.
The theme is "Get Their Paws on a Good Book."
This year's theme for the summer reading program for elementary readers is "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales."
The theme for teen readers ages 12 and older is "Creature Feature."
All teen readers are welcome to join with the Bibliomaniacs from noon to 1 p.m. every Wednesday for book discussions, crafts and other teen activities.
Teens are asked to bring a sack lunch and a chair or blanket to sit on. A drink will be provided.
The Eudora Public Library now has DVDs for checkout.
