Holy Family Church will have Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. every Friday during Lent, beginning Friday.
Each week during Lent, a different group from within the parish will assist with the stations.
The Knights of Columbus will assist on Friday.
The St. Theresa's Society at Holy Family Church will have a soup supper at 6 p.m. Fridays during Lent. The first soup supper is Friday in the parish hall, 820 Birch St.
All parishioners are invited to attend. A free will offering will be accepted.
Lenten talks will begin following the 10 a.m. Sunday mass at Holy Family Church, 820 Birch St.
The first issue discussed will concern stem cell research. Fair and essential information about the topic will be presented.
The session will last between 30 to 45 minutes.
St. Paul United Church of Christ is hosting a Lenten Book Study for the novel "Gilead" by Marilynne Robinson. The book is a reflection on life by a dying minister writing to his young son.
The community is invited to read the book during the month of March and join the discussion at 7 p.m. March 27 at the church, Eighth and Church streets.
