Weather class to take place

The Eudora Police Department will have a "Weather 101" program from 7 to 9 p.m. March 22 at Eudora City Hall, 4 East Seventh St. The community is invited.
The program will provide information about severe thunderstorm development and a discussion of severe weather safety. The National Weather Service and Douglas County Emergency Management will give it.
A warning coordination meteorologist with the Topeka National Weather Service will give the program.
All Hazard Radios with one-site programming will be available at cost.
Other sessions will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. March 15 at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire, Lawrence, and from 7 to 9 p.m. April 13 at the Baldwin Elementary School, 101 Bullpup Drive, Baldwin City.
