How They Voted
The House last week approved Senate Bill 461, which would amend the section of the Workers Compensation Act dealing with pre-existing conditions.
The legislation is designed to prevent employers from paying workers' compensation benefits for medical problems the employees had before being hired, such as a bad back.
The House approved the legislation in a 67-56 vote, sending it to Gov. Kathleen Sebelius for her consideration.
