Marjorie J. Logan
Services for Marjorie June Logan, 83, Fort Scott, were Tuesday, March 28, at the Cheney Witt Chapel in Fort Scott. Burial was in the Lath Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Logan died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at her home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Devon, the daughter of Aaron and Pearl Freese VanDyke. She graduated from Fort Scott High School.
She worked for many years as a home health caretaker for the State of Kansas. She attended Grace Baptist Church.
She married Cecil Edward Combs in 1939. He died in 1956. She married John Fowler in 1959. He died in 1993. She then married George Logan in 1996. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Cecil Combs and Terry Combs, both of Fort Scott; three daughters, Beatrice Powell and Elaine Brown, both of Fort Scott, and Mary Jacquinot, Houston; a sister Betty Ham, Fort Scott; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Rocky Combs and infant Donald Combs; two grandsons, Thomas Powell and Peter Jacquinot; and two brothers, Hubert VanDyke and Elmer VanDyke, preceded her in death.
