Bub and LaDonna Schmidt, De Soto, visited Elsie Mathia last Thursday.

Rocky and Betty Mason and Ruth Wilson played cards Sunday with Elsie Mathia.

Tillie Bichelmeyer, Emma Jean Taylor, Julia Polfer, Olathe, and Janice Kelly, Overland Park, played pinochle Tuesday at the home of Ellen Moll in Lenexa.

Gertrude Coon, Clarice Morriss, Bertie Morriss and Emma Jean Taylor played cards last Thursday evening at the home of Harold and Alma Sisk.

Bertie Morriss was a dinner guest Sunday evening of her daughter and son-in-law Merlene and Price McCormick. Other guests were Kevin and Anna McCormick, Lawrence, Kurtis and Misty McCormick and children Kasi and Kurtis, and Travis and Brandi McCormick and son Jace.

Betty Ryan returned home after spending about a month with her daughter Barbara Earnhart in Linwood, following surgery at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Darlene Randel, Elva Jordan and Shirley Cummings of Olathe attended the 96th birthday party Sunday for Ruth L. Miller at the Pomona Community Building.
More than 40 family and friends attended including children Melvin Miller, Harlan and Thelma Miller, Charlotte Chambers, Vada Miller and Fletcher and Treva Simonna. Ruth still lives in her home with the assistance of her family.

Gina Thompkins, Lone Jack, Mo., came Saturday to attend the mother-daughter brunch at Eudora United Methodist Church with her mother Clarice Morriss and Marilyn Morriss.

My sister, Carol Belles, Lawrence, and her daughter Debbie Mudrock, Norwalk, Calif., visited me Wednesday evening.
My daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick and their great-grandchildren Aftyn and Duncan, Linwood, visited me Thursday evening.
My daughter Pam Snively, Maryville, Mo., and my daughter Sharon as well as my two great-great-granddaughters Aftyn and Trinity Hankins, Linwood, and Carol Scott and I attended the mother-daughter brunch at the Eudora United Methodist Church Saturday morning.
In the afternoon, my sister Carol and her daughter Debbie came to visit with Pam and Sharon and the little ones, Aftyn and Trinity. La Verne Musick brought my great-great-grandson Duncan so they could see him, too.

Tillie Bichelmeyer attended a dinner April 30 at the home of Dean and Cindy Hinkle, Bonner Springs, to honor their granddaughter Chanley Easley's first communion. She is the daughter of Brad and Dawn Easley, Basehor.

I attended the greeters' luncheon and musical program last Thursday at Eudora High School.

My daughter Sharon Musick, Linwood, Carol Scott, Clarice Morriss and I drove to Saratoga Rebekah Lodge 660 in Bonner Springs last Thursday for a reception and dinner for District 3 President Bill Shields.
Minerva Lodge 143 will entertain District 3 officers at 7:30 p.m. June 20 in the Pinecrest II clubroom.

My daughter Sharon Musick and I attended the wedding last Saturday of Angela Joy Chastain to Stephen James Carlyle at the Lawrence Free Methodist Church.
My great-great-granddaughter Aftyn Hankins was the flower girl and her sister Trinity Hankins passed out programs.
