Election receipts, expenditures available
Treasurers for candidates running for state or county office filed pre-general election campaign reports Oct. 30. Campaign finance reports disclose the financial transactions of candidates prior to the Nov. 7 general election. The reports contain the names of most contributors and the amounts of their contributions, as well as information as to how campaign funds are spent. Receipts and Expenditures Reports are a matter of public record and are available for review at the following locations:
- In the office of the County/Clerk/Commissioner during regular business hours for candidates for county office; candidates for state office (filed in candidate's home county).
- In the office of the Secretary of State during regular business hours for candidates for state office candidates for statewide office.
- Any time on the Governmental Ethics Commission's Web site at http://www.kansas.gov/ethics/FiledRptsFrmsHm.htm for candidates for state office; candidates for state wide office.
