Sunday/October 29

  • Arrest. At about 12:20 a.m. in the area of 28th and Church streets, officers arrested a 44-year-old male for driving under the influence.
  • Arrest. At about 2:10 a.m. in the area of 10th and Cherry streets, officers arrested a 17-year-old male for driving under the influence.
  • Accident. At about 4:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of Elm Street, officers worked a two-vehicle injury accident.
  • Accident. At about 5:20 p.m. in the area of 12th and Main streets, officers worked a two-vehicle accident. The struck vehicle was illegally park on the road.

Monday/October 30

  • Damage. At about 9:10 a.m. in the 300 block of East 11th Street, officers took a criminal damage report.
  • Theft of service. At about 11:35 a.m. in the 1000 block of Maple Street, officers investigated a report of service theft.
  • Forgery. At about 1:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of Church Street, officers assisted Johnson County authorities in investigations regarding stolen checks from their county.
  • Accident. At about 2 p.m. in the 100 block of West 10th Street, officers worked a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
  • Car fire. At about 3:30 p.m. in the area of Kansas Highway 10 mile marker 10, officers investigated a car fire. Officers found the fire extinguished upon arrival.

Tuesday/October 31

  • Arrest. At about 11:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Church Street, officers arrested a 21-year-old male for driving under the influence.

Wednesday/November 1

  • Arrest. At about 9 p.m., in the 1500 block of Church Street, officers arrested a 42-year-old male for failure to appear in traffic court.

Friday/November 3

  • Accident. At about 7:30 p.m. in the area of 10th Street and Winchester Road, officers worked a non-injury car-deer accident.

Saturday/November 4

  • Arrest. At about 2:10 a.m. in the area of 20th and Church streets, officers arrested a 26-year-old male for driving under the influence.

Sunday/November 5

  • Arrest. At about 2:55 a.m. in the 500 block of Main Street, officers arrested a 26-year-old male for driving under the influence and possessing a controlled substance.
  • Fire. At about 7:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Maple Street, officers responded to a trailer fire.

Monday/November 6

  • Child in need of care. At about 1:30 p.m. in the 1500 Block of Stevens Drive, officers took a report of a 13-year-old female child in need of care. The child has since been found and returned home.

Tuesday/November 7

  • Arrest. At about 8:10 a.m. in the 300 block of East 10th Street, officers responded to a call regarding shoplifters in a business. Officers arrested a 25-year-female and a 26-year-old male for outstanding warrants, possession of a controlled substance and theft of third-party mail. Officers are working with the United States Postal Service.
  • Arrest. At about 8:30 p.m. in the area of 15th and Church streets, officers arrested a 52-year-old male for driving with a revoked license.

Wednesday/November 8

  • Accident. At about 7:10 p.m. in the area of K-10 and Church Street, officers worked a non-injury one-vehicle accident. The vehicle struck debris in the road.

Thursday/November 9

  • Accident. At about 6 p.m. in the area of Grandview Mobile Home Park, officers worked a two-vehicle non-injury accident. A vehicle parked out of gear struck a second vehicle, which struck a trailer.
