Basketball clinic
All boys in grades four to eight are invited to attend a basketball clinic from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7 to 9 at Eudora High School, 2203 Church St.
There is no registration or charge for the clinic, which is put on by the high school coaching staff.
The clinic will cover the fundamentals of basketball as well as play games.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
