Eudora’s tax rate
Effective Jan. 1, 2007, the city of Eudora's state and local sales/use tax rate will increase from 6.8 percent to 7.3 percent.
Anyone who needs bracket cards is asked to visit the Web site at www.ksrevenue.org/forms.htm or call (785) 296-4937. When calling, indicate the bracket card percentage rate being requested.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
