Halloween dance
The Eudora Middle School Booster Club will have a Halloween dance for seventh- and eighth-graders from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the middle school.
A live deejay, costume prizes, snacks and drinks will be provided.
Admission is $1 each.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
