Red Ribbon Week
Several schools in the Eudora district are participating this week in the Red Ribbon Campaign, the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week.
Monday was hat day at Eudora Middle School. The theme was "Put a Lid on Drugs." Tuesday was "Living Drug Free is No Sweat;" Mismatch Day was "Don't Get Mixed Up in Drugs." Thursday is "Team Up Against Drugs" where students can wear jerseys to school and Friday is "Show Your Red Ribbon Spirit."
Monday was "Say No to Drugs -- Wear Red Day" at Eudora West Elementary School and "Hats Off to Drugs" at Nottingham Elementary School. Both elementary schools shared the same themes the remainder of the week. Tuesday was "Sock it to Drugs Day" where students could wear crazy socks and Wednesday was "Don't Let Drugs Sneak Up On You" where students wore sneakers to school. Students can dress in sweat clothes for Thursday's "Living Drug Free is No Sweat" day and "Team Up on Drugs" is Friday. Students can wear their favorite team's clothing.
