Scouting news

October 26, 2006

Eudora Troop 64 Boy Scout leaders and interested adults spent two days this week moving Scouting furniture from the Carrol Gerstenberger barn to a room in the old middle school, and building shelves in the newly acquired Scout storage shed loaned to the Scouts by Richard Campbell.

Those who helped move equipment and build the storage shelves were Glenn Wineinger, Bill Zinn, Leonard Hollmann, John Scott, Jim Guy, Eugene Westerhouse and Jessie Hopkins. The Scouts appreciates the use of Carrol Gestenberger's barn, which was used to temporarily store the Scouting equipment after the group moved from Salem Chapel in January, the Eudora school district for letting the Scouts use the facilities at the old middle school and Richard Campbell for the use of his storage shed.
