Student of the Week
Ethan Leahow was the Nottingham Elementary School Student of the Week Oct. 6 to 10. He is a second-grader in Courtney Heigele's class.
The Eudora school district and State Farm Insurance are recognizing outstanding students with the Student of the Week program.
Each week, one district school selects a student to be recognized with an ad in The Eudora News. The featured school will change from building to building each week.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
