Lauren Gammon, Ashley Nitchals and Sarah Prudden led the team in serving.
In the second match against Tonganoxie, Eudora came up against a more talented team, but again took the first two games and chalked up another win for the Cardinals, 25-13 and 25-20. Eudora dropped the third "for practice and fun" match, 15-10.
"The girls have made enormous gains in their skills and abilities since our first practice," coach Dana Neis said. "The wins are well deserved."
The eighth-grade varsity volleyball team won its first match of the season Aug. 29 by beating Tonganoxie in three games 25-22, 21-25 and 16-14.
