Volleyball team takes down Perry-Lecompton
The Eudora High School volleyball team won both of the matches it played against Perry-Lecompton Thursday evening at home.
The tournament was originally supposed to be held in Pomona, but after Pomona dropped the tournament from its schedule, the game was moved to Eudora.
In the first match, the Cardinals won the first game 25-7 and 25-12 in the second. In the next match, the final score for the first game was 25-11 and 25-9 for the second.
Senior Erin Kracl said although it was good just to play volleyball, the competition level was somewhat lacking.
"It's hard to play really well when you're not playing at the level you are used to," Kracl said. "It's kind of hard to when the competition wasn't that high."
