The eighth-grade football team leveled its record Tuesday against Central Heights with a 38-6 win.
Scoring on the first two plays from scrimmage and connecting on the conversions, the Cardinals led 16-0 at the quarter. Eudora doubled its score in the second quarter, 32-0, and quickly made it 38-0 in the third before giving up a touchdown, making the final 38-6.
The seventh-grade team evened its record with a win Tuesday over Central Heights. The game was scoreless at the half with a couple of goal line stands by the Eudora defense.
In the second half, the Cardinals struck first with a touchdown and two-point conversion to go up 8-0. Central Heights scored late in the game, but failed on its conversion attempt, making the final score 8-6.
