Certain phrases flurried around the Eudora High School class of 1956 Saturday night as it gathered in the culinary arts room of the Eudora/De Soto Technical Education Center. After 50 years, everyone looks a little older. Eudora looks so much different. “It’s wonderful,” Margean Westerhouse Cress said.

Offense hums as Cardinals blow past Wellsville

The Eudora Cardinals just kept scoring. In the third game of the season Friday night against Wellsville, with a combination of several great offensive drives and the prowess of Matthew Abel, the Cardinals won 71-19, bringing the team record to 3-0.
Eudora adjusts to leader’s absence

Things were on the up and up for the Cardinal soccer team Tuesday. After ending the first half tied at 1-1 against Tonganoxie, Isaac Welsh snaked through the defense and kicked the ball into the net without too much interference from the goalkeeper. The score stayed 2-1 until, with just minutes remaining in the half, a Tonganoxie forward head-butted the ball past Cardinal goalkeeper Chad Haag, tying the score up.
