Becky Dreifuss and Terry Barnett took second in duet acting in forensics.


  • Two chaperones are needed for the Eudora High School Environmental Club field trip April 13 to the Kansas City Zoo.

Any parent interested in helping is asked to call Stacey Watts at the high school at 542-4980.


  • A college fair will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. April 22 at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park. More information is available in the career center at the high school.

  • Johnson County Community College will have an Industrial Technology Showcase from10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21 at the college.

Five different technology programs as well as HVAC and pre-engineering programs will be featured.

Information is available in the career center at the high school.


  • The deadline to register for the Overland Park Fire Department "Camp Inferno" for young women between the ages of 15 and 19 is April 13. The weeklong camp allows participants a taste of a career in firefighting and Emergency Medical Services.

  • The Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine will have an open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 14. More information is available in the career center.

  • The Dole Institute of Politics in Lawrence is planning its second annual "Youth Civic Leadership Institute" for July 11 to 13.

Eudora High School had two students attend last year.

The Dole Institute will host up to 60 incoming seniors from around the state engaged in a program designed to foster appreciation and involvement in public service. There is no charge for those selected to attend.

EHS can nominate two junior students.

Information is available in the career center. Deadline for those nominated is April 18.
